Sebastian and Marcel are two men who have been struggling with addiction for years. Sebastian is addicted to alcohol and prescription pills, while Marcel is addicted to crack cocaine. Both men have hit rock bottom and their families are desperate for them to get help.

The episode starts with Sebastian's family talking about his addiction and how it has affected their lives. Sebastian's wife is especially worried about the safety of their children, as Sebastian often becomes violent when he is under the influence. Sebastian's mother is also concerned about his health, as he has been in and out of the hospital numerous times due to his addiction.

Next, the show focuses on Marcel's story. Marcel's family talks about how he was always a happy and outgoing kid, but his addiction has changed him completely. Marcel's brother describes how he has lost touch with his family and friends, and how he has become completely consumed by his addiction.

The Intervention team then meets with Sebastian and Marcel's families to plan an intervention. The families prepare letters to read to their loved ones, telling them how much they care about them and how their addiction has affected their lives. The Intervention team also arranges for a treatment center to pick up Sebastian and Marcel after the intervention.

During the actual intervention, Sebastian is resistant at first but eventually agrees to go to treatment. Marcel is even more resistant, and at one point tries to leave the room. However, his family convinces him to stay and listen to what they have to say. In the end, Marcel agrees to go to treatment as well.

The show then follows Sebastian and Marcel as they go through detox and begin their treatment programs. Both men struggle with the withdrawal symptoms and the emotional turmoil of facing their addiction. However, they also begin to make progress as they learn coping skills and start to address the underlying issues that led them to addiction in the first place.

The families also attend therapy sessions to work through their own issues and learn how to support their loved ones in recovery. The show emphasizes the importance of family involvement in the recovery process, as addiction affects not just the individual but also their loved ones.

As the episode comes to a close, Sebastian and Marcel graduate from treatment and reunite with their families. Both men express gratitude for the intervention and the support they received, and vow to stay sober for their own sake as well as for their families.

Overall, the episode is a powerful portrayal of the impact of addiction on individuals and their families, and the importance of seeking help and support. It highlights the difficult journey of recovery, but also the hope and healing that are possible with the right resources and a strong support system.
