In Kuroshitsuji season 1 episode 7, titled "His Butler, Travel," we see Ciel and Sebastian travel to the countryside for a business trip. The opening scene shows Ciel and Sebastian on a train, with Ciel visibly irritated by the close quarters and Sebastian calmly reading a book. As they disembark, they are greeted by a group of villagers who seem to be apprehensive of Sebastian. The pair make their way to the Phantomhive estate, where they meet the client they are tasked to serve.

The client, a wealthy gentleman named Maurice Cole, has hired the Phantomhives to investigate an outbreak of disappearances in the village. Ciel and Sebastian begin their investigation by talking to the villagers and searching the surrounding area for clues. The villagers are at first hesitant to speak with them, but after some persuasion, they reveal that the disappearances began shortly after the arrival of a traveling circus.

Ciel and Sebastian attend the circus to investigate, where Sebastian immediately draws the attention of the performers with his impeccable manners and stunning talent in knife-throwing and juggling. He even manages to impress the ringmaster, who invites them to attend the circus's evening performance. That afternoon, Ciel and Sebastian meet with the circus's troupe leader, who reveals that two of their performers have gone missing as well. Ciel and Sebastian suspect that the disappearances are connected and continue their investigation.

Later that night, Ciel and Sebastian attend the circus's evening performance. During the show, they notice that the clown is behaving strangely, and before they can investigate further, the ringmaster announces that the final act will be performed by none other than Sebastian himself. Sebastian takes the stage and wows the audience with his knife-throwing skills. However, when he throws his final knife, it strikes the clown's hat, which turns out to be a bomb. Chaos ensues as the tent catches fire and Ciel and Sebastian work to save the performers and audience members.

In the aftermath of the circus disaster, Ciel and Sebastian are able to solve the case of the missing villagers and performers. They discover that the ringmaster had been kidnapping people and using them as experimental subjects to create a new kind of undead organism. The clown, who turns out to be a reanimated corpse, was the final stage of his experiment, and the bomb inside his hat was meant to be a failsafe to destroy the evidence if needed. Ciel and Sebastian turn the evidence over to the authorities and return to London.

"His Butler, Travel" is a thrilling episode that showcases both the lighter and darker sides of Kuroshitsuji. From the charming and comical interactions between Ciel and Sebastian to the harrowing discovery of the ringmaster's evil experiments, this episode has something for everyone. The episode's climactic circus scene is particularly well-done, with its mix of suspense, action, and horror. Overall, this is an episode that should not be missed.
