Ep 2. Sleepless in Seattle

Kyle XY season 1 episode 2 titled "Sleepless in Seattle" picks up where the first episode left off. We see Kyle trying to adjust to regular life with the Trager family in Seattle. However, he finds it hard to sleep and has a hard time getting comfortable. He begins to explore the house at night and finds himself in the kitchen attempting to make pancakes.

Meanwhile, the Trager family is experiencing their own set of sleep issues. Josh and Andy are on completely different sleep schedules causing tension between the two of them. Nicole is having trouble sleeping as well and keeps getting woken up by the strange noises coming from the kitchen at night.

As the episode progresses, we see that Kyle is able to access an incredible amount of knowledge and information. However, his ability to process it all keeps him up at night. He begins to use his time awake to learn more about his new environment and the human experience.

In addition to Kyle's sleeplessness, the episode introduces a new character, Tom Foss. Tom is a man who appears to be working for a mysterious organization and has been tasked with locating Kyle. He is shown to have incredible fighting skills and is able to track Kyle's every move.

As the episode comes to a close, we see Kyle sneak out of the house and go for a run. Tom finds him and confronts him. However, Kyle is able to outsmart Tom and escape his grasp. We are left wondering why Tom is after Kyle, and what exactly he wants from him.

Overall, "Sleepless in Seattle" delves deeper into the mysteries and intrigue surrounding Kyle's existence. We are introduced to a new character and are left with even more questions than before. The episode continues to build on the strong foundation set in the pilot and promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
