The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit season 15 episode 20 titled "Post-Mortem Blues" is a crime drama that follows the detectives of the Special Victims Unit as they investigate a murder case involving a young woman.

The episode begins with the discovery of a woman's dead body that has been dumped in a garbage bin. The victim is identified as a 23-year-old artist called Jessalyn Kerr. The detectives immediately begin their investigation and learn that Jessalyn was a regular at a trendy club called The Paradise where she used to exhibit her artwork. The detectives also discover that Jessalyn had a boyfriend, a musician named Luca, who was last seen with her at the club.

As the investigation progresses, the detectives learn that Jessalyn was in a relationship with Luca for a short period of time before breaking up with him. Luca, however, insists that he and Jessalyn were still close and that he did not have anything to do with her murder. The detectives then turn their attention to other suspects, including the club's owner, the bouncer, and some of Jessalyn's fellow artists.

The detectives soon discover that Jessalyn's murder might not be an isolated incident. They find out that another young artist who used to frequent the club, Bonnie, had also been murdered a few months ago under similar circumstances. Bonnie's case had been closed due to lack of evidence, but the detectives believe that the two cases might be connected.

As the investigation deepens, the detectives realize that the murders might be linked to the club's owner, a wealthy businessman named Richard Dwyer. Dwyer is known to have a shady past and is suspected of being involved in organized crime. The detectives also learn that Dwyer had been dating Jessalyn before she broke up with him and that he had been stalking her ever since.

The detectives confront Dwyer with their findings, and he denies any involvement in the murders. However, when the detectives obtain new evidence, Dwyer's lie is caught. He confesses to the murders, but he expresses no remorse and is extremely defiant. He reveals that he murdered Jessalyn and Bonnie because they rejected his advances and because he viewed them as disposable objects. Dwyer is ultimately arrested and brought to justice.
