Following the donut shop shooting incident, Veronica is overwhelmed by PTSD. With a disturbing visitor arriving, Veronica takes off unexpectedly, leaving everyone worried. Back at the hospital, the victims of a bus bombing inundate the E.R., causing Dr. Briggs and Dr. Sands to fight over the only OR available. Meanwhile, Chloe battles a hangover on her second day in the E.R., Sonia tries to keep her infidelity from Valentino and Dr.Harris treats a patient that has a condition that causes her to make inappropiate sexual advances.
