Often described as twisted, demented and over the top, Squidbillies is an animated television show that slaps the viewers in the face with crass language and shocking humor. The genre of this TV show is sort of like a demented humor comedy series that features dark humor that is not intended for young children. This show was created by two guys called Jim Fortier and Dave Wills. In addition, the show uses the voice talents of the following: Stuart Danielle Baker, Danielle McDevitt, Dana Snyder, Patricia French, Bobby Elterbeem Todd Hanson, Scott Hiley and Charles Naplen. The show is done in a narrated format and is narrated by Dave Wills. Squidbillies is a television show that, because of its crass humor, suggestive language and dark and sick humor, is featured on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network.
The plot of this show is about a demented family called the Cuyler's. The show usually portrays this family as typical hillbillies, and shows them as they cause turmoil in their neighborhood. The trouble that they cause is usually related to death and decapitation of several neighbors. This dysfunctional family can cause all the trouble that they want because they are protected by a sheriff who claims that they are a highly endangered breed of Appalachian Mountain Squids. This family basically has free rein on their actions, and they don't have to suffer the consequences or get put in jail.
The Cuyler family lives on the large Appalachian Mountains located in a remote area in Georgia. While the family live their lives, they cause damages, offenses, controversy and plenty of crazy actions. Many of the actions that they partake in include: over consumption of booze, death and murders, illicit acts and several over the top acts. This show is not intended for young viewers.
