Ep 9. Cologne Ranger

Doug is enjoying his day off from work, lounging on the couch and watching TV, when he smells something foul. He soon discovers that it's coming from his cousin Danny, who's staying with them for a few days. Danny is going through a tough time and has been living out of his car, so Doug and Carrie take him in.

Meanwhile, Arthur is determined to find a new hobby. He decides to take up bird watching and runs into some trouble when he mistakes a pigeon for a rare bird and causes chaos in the park.

In an effort to lift Danny's spirits, Doug takes him to a cologne store to try on some new scents. Things quickly spiral out of control when Danny gets a little too enthusiastic with the cologne and starts spraying it on everything in sight. The two men end up getting banned from the store and have to make a run for it.

Back at home, Carrie is struggling to keep up with all of Danny's strange habits, like taking super-long showers and wearing Doug's clothes. She gets even more annoyed when she discovers that Danny is stealing her snacks from the pantry. She tries to confront him about it but ends up feeling sorry for him when she learns more about his situation.

In the end, Doug comes up with a plan to help Danny out of his rut. He offers Danny a job delivering packages for his company, and Danny is grateful for the opportunity. The two cousins share a heartfelt moment as Danny thanks Doug for being a true friend and helping him out when he needed it the most.
