With the single coming out he learns that he will be going on a 6 week radio promo tour, and Tiffany is not happy to learn she and Lyric can not go with him. This causes a strife between them, and Ashley being so busy with radio interviews doesn't help.

New life of a daddy is straining on Ashley, and he's having trouble containing it. How is he supposed to be a good father when his biological father is homeless and his step-dad doesn't approve of his life? He also misses his mom a whole lot. As a sup rise Tiffany flies her out for a few days which really helps him handle things. Meanwhile, Ashley's manager hears about how the stress is affecting Ashley's marriage so he sets the up with a weekend away at a nice sweet in a fancy hotel.

Tiffany and her mom are getting a little tired of Ashley ditching his chore work and leaving them to handle it all. So they make up a "chore chart" for him to follow, which doesn't really help much. A few of the O-Town boys come over, the boys go out party, and get wasted. The next morning one of Ashley's managers comes over and they record a song in progress. They also scheduale Ashley to perform at an open mic night, which he does, and misses a note on the piano.

In an attempt to make money Ashley goes out on a job search, and after a failure to find one he calls jake who hooks him up with a construction job. Ashley enjoys his job there and hopes to come back soon on days when he is not working on his CD. Jake invites him to a concert he is putting on down at a local bar, but Ashley gets kicked down after getting in a fight with some punk. At home they experience the pains of child care after a night on the town.

Tiffany's doctor signals the go that it's alright for Tiffany and Ashley to be "active" again, so they prepare a romantic evening together to "end their dry spell". But, Ashley has more planned for this night then she expects. With an expensive Diamond ring he bought before he went broke, he plans to propose to Tiffany.

All tensions rise as Tiffany draw's near to having the baby. She begins to feel stressed, and is taking it out on Ashley who is feeling pretty down. In the middle of the night, the time comes. They take Tiffany to the hospital, where she finally delivers her little baby boy: Lyric.

Dan Miller (a former O-Towner) is on town for a concert composed of members of former boys bands. Everyone is psyched to go, until they realize it is cancelled. Later on, in order to make a few bucks, Ashley and the family throw a yard sale. With one creepy best customer. When Ashley's birthday arrives a few days later, the girls put together a suprise party (although a party at all is unwanted by Ashley) while he is at a meeting. He arrives home surpised to find all of his old friends and family there for him. And although he didn't want a party, he is happy he got one.

Tiffany is put to bed rest in order to prevent a premature birth, but the pressure is too much. She feels Ashley has it too easy, and "runs away" even when supposed to be on bed rest. This drives Ashley further crazy along with the pressure of his musical career.

This episode starts with a quick introduction from Ashely. He basically tells us what he's been doing with himself since O Town split up. He's broke, and lives with his pregnant girlfriend and her mother in a small apartment. He is currently working on a solo album and is not happy with his current production company. During the episode, his manager helps him get a deal with new producton company who gives him 10 grand in order to pay off a new house. The episode ends with him and his girlfriend celebrating their 1 year anniversary on the beach.
