Ep 17. The Last Battle

Set in the future of the 1970s, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea is a science fiction television series about the underwater adventures of the submarine Seaview and its crew. In season 1 episode 17, titled The Last Battle, the crew of the Seaview is tasked with a dangerous mission to salvage a missile from the bottom of the ocean.

The episode begins with Admiral Nelson (played by Richard Basehart) receiving a distress call from a nearby submarine. When the Seaview arrives at the scene, they discover that the submarine has been destroyed and that the crew is missing. As the crew battles the Encephalopods, they discover that the creatures are being controlled by an unknown force. It soon becomes clear that they are not the only ones searching for the missile, and that they are up against a powerful enemy who will stop at nothing to obtain it.

The crew of the Seaview must use all of their skills and resources to locate and retrieve the missile before it is too late. But as they come closer to their goal, they find themselves facing the ultimate battle for survival.

The Last Battle is a thrilling and action-packed episode of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. With its suspenseful plot and exciting underwater scenes, it is a must-watch for fans of science fiction and adventure.
