Watch Winter X Games 16

These X-Games were held to honor a freestyle skier, Sarah Burke, who died in a tragic accident. They continued the trend for the 11th straight series held in Aspen. While it was aired on ESPN, these X-Games featured a variety of different sports with many different end results.

The main categories were Skiing, Snowboarding and Snowmobiling. The United States brought home the most trophies and medals with a count of ten gold, ten silver and seven bronze. There were twenty-seven medals presented in total. Canada took second place with twelve total trophies. Norway ended up in third with five trophies.
