The Secret Service then starts to watch Luther’s daughter, Kate. Kate goes for a run, and the Secret Service tries to push her car over a cliff. She survives, but she is badly injured. While she is in the hospital, a Secret Service agent tries to push a syringe filled with poison into her neck. Luther arrives just in time and kills the agent. Luther then kidnaps the President’s limousine driver and gets him to confess what he knows about that night. The Secret Service agent who tried to kill Kate commits suicide but leaves a bunch of evidence for Detective Frank. Frank uses the evidence as grounds to arrest the President. However, the President and billionaire get into a fight, and the President is killed. Satisfied with the outcome, Luther stays by his daughter’s bed side. Frank visits them in the hospital, and Luther suggests that he and Kate go on a date. The film ends with Luther drawing a picture of his sleeping daughter.
