Ep 7. The Bunkers and the Swingers

In the All in the Family season 3 episode 7, entitled "The Bunkers and the Swingers," Archie and Edith are invited to a party by their neighbors, the Lorenzos, who are known for their swinging lifestyle. Initially, Archie is against going to the party, but Edith convinces him to go.

At the party, Archie and Edith are shocked to discover that the guests are participating in key swapping, a practice where couples switch partners for the night. They are uncomfortable and decide to leave early.

The next day, Archie is still upset about the party and starts ranting about the degeneracy of the younger generation. However, his son-in-law, Mike, argues that people should be free to do what they want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. This leads to a heated debate between Archie and Mike about the nature of morality.

Meanwhile, Edith is grappling with her own feelings about the party. She feels guilty for not being more open-minded, but also believes that there are certain things that are just wrong. She confides in the Lorenzos, who try to convince her to give swinging a chance.

The episode ends with Archie walking in on Mike and Gloria in a passionate embrace, causing him to question his own ideas about morality and sexuality.
