The owner is thrilled to learn that the collection is worth over $100,000.

Next up, a woman brings in a painting that has been in her family for generations. The painting, which depicts a landscape with a mountain in the background, turns out to be a work by famed American artist Albert Bierstadt. The appraiser values the painting at $200,000 to $300,000.

Antiques expert Wes Cowan is on hand to appraise a 19th-century American sword with a unique curved blade. The sword turns out to be a naval officer's dress sword from the Civil War era and is worth around $10,000.

Another interesting item brought in for appraisal is a set of silver serving utensils from the early 20th century. The set, which includes a gravy ladle, carving knife and fork, and other pieces, is valued at $4,000 to $6,000.

A man brings in an antique slot machine that has been in his family for generations. The appraiser explains the history of slot machines and the laws surrounding their use, before valuing the machine at $3,000 to $5,000.

A woman brings in a set of ceramic figurines that she inherited from her grandmother. The figurines, which depict animals such as rabbits and deer, turn out to be by renowned ceramicist George Ohr and are valued at $12,000 to $18,000.

Finally, a man brings in a set of antique Japanese swords that have been in his family for over a century. The appraiser explains the history and significance of Japanese swords, before valuing the set at $25,000 to $35,000.

Throughout the episode, the appraisers provide fascinating insights into the history and value of each item, as well as highlighting the importance of provenance and condition when it comes to determining an item's worth.
