Ep 24. Build It, Future House, Surge

In season 15 episode 24 of the show Ask This Old House, titled "Build It, Future House, Surge", the team tackles three different topics.

Scott explains what causes surges, and how to protect the home against them with proper grounding and a whole-house surge protector. He also discusses the benefits of adding surge protectors to individual appliances, such as computers and televisions, which can be particularly vulnerable to damage.
