BBQ Crawl Season 2 Episode 9 Huge Sammies, Fishing and Georgian Gumbo

In this episode of BBQ Crawl season 2, titled Huge Sammies, Fishing and Georgian Gumbo, host Danielle Dimovski, also known as Diva Q, ventures to three different barbecue joints in the southern United States to sample some of the region's most delicious and unique dishes.

The first stop on the crawl is at Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q in Decatur, Alabama, where Diva Q tries the restaurant's famous "Big Bob" sandwich. This massive sandwich features smoked turkey, pulled pork, and slaw piled high on a bun. The restaurant's pitmaster, Chris Lilly, also demonstrates how he makes his award-winning smoked turkey.

Next, Diva Q heads to Venice, Louisiana to try some "Cajun barbecue" at Middendorf's Seafood Restaurant, which has been serving up fried catfish and other seafood dishes for over 80 years. There, she meets up with a local fisherman and goes out on the water to catch some fresh ingredients for the gumbo she'll be making later in the episode.

The final stop on the crawl is at Southern Soul Barbeque on St. Simons Island, Georgia. There, Diva Q tries the restaurant's famous Brunswick stew before meeting up with pitmaster Harrison Sapp to learn how to make his unique "Georgia gumbo," which features smoked sausage, shrimp, and okra.

Throughout the episode, Diva Q also gives viewers an insider's look at the world of competitive barbecue, sharing tips and tricks from some of the best pitmasters in the business. With mouth-watering dishes and beautiful scenery, Huge Sammies, Fishing and Georgian Gumbo is a must-watch for any barbecue enthusiast.
