Best Student Council is a Japanese anime television series produced by J.C.Staff and directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki. The show aired on TV Tokyo in 2005 and consists of 26 episodes. The series is a comedy and school-life genre anime that revolved around student council activities in an all-girls academy, Miyagami Private Academy.

The story covered the daily lives of the president and members of the student council. The student council is responsible for the welfare of all the students in the academy, from organizing clubs to planning events. The president of the student council, Rino Rando, is an energetic yet clumsy girl who always tries to do what is best for the school, but she tends to get herself into quirky situations.

Rino is the central character in the series who was known for her optimistic personality and efforts to make all the students feel comfortable and relaxed. With the help of the vice-president, Minamo Katsura, and other student council members, Rino navigated her way through various challenges that came her way. Minamo was the logical member of the student council and was often the voice of reason. She supported Rino through everything and became her confidant and guide.

Other student council members included Nanaho Hattori, the treasurer of the student council, who was responsible for the finances and budgeting of the school. She was always calm and collected in her approach to her work, which made her an invaluable member. Mayura Ichikawa was the secretary of the student council, and her primary role was to keep a record of all the meetings and their outcomes.

Best Student Council saw the introduction of several quirky characters that added to the overall charm of the show. Mami Aoki was a police officer who spent most of her time in the school, keeping an eye out for any illegal activity. Pucchan was an alien dog who was Rino's pet and one of her most trusted companions. He had the ability to transform into a rocket and take Rino on various adventures.

The show also explored the relationships between the characters, with each episode introducing a new character that would have a significant impact on the storyline. Some of the characters included Mayumi Kisaki, a transfer student from Europe, and Misaki Matsuya, a shy and reserved girl who struggled to make friends.

The animation and voice acting in Best Student Council were brilliant. Ayako Kawasumi voiced Rino, and her performance brought the character to life. Kaori Shimizu voiced Minamo and portrayed the character with a perfect blend of warmth and logic. Miyuki Sawashiro voiced the treasurer, Nanaho, and Junko Noda voiced the secretary, Mayura. All the voice actors did an excellent job of bringing their characters to life, making the show enjoyable to watch.

Best Student Council had an acceptable storyline and unique characters, which made the show enjoyable to watch. The animation and voice acting were of high quality and added to the overall charm of the show. Although it is not the most famous anime series, Best Student Council is worth watching if you enjoy comedy and school-life anime.
