Six weeks have passed since the last episode of Black Ink Crew. As the show picks up, we find out that the COVID-19 pandemic has officially hit New York City and the tattoo shop is no exception. Ceaser struggles with the decision of whether or not to shut down the shop for the safety of his employees and clients, but realizes that the closure would put everyone's livelihoods at risk.
Meanwhile, Tati is back at Black Ink after serving time in jail. She's determined to get her life back on track and maintain her sobriety, but not everyone is convinced that she's ready for the challenge. Donna and Alex plan a surprise for Tati to celebrate her successful completion of rehab and help her stay on the right track.
Bae and Oh no have some exciting news to share with the rest of the crew. They've decided to move to South Korea for a year and want to make the most of their remaining time in New York by throwing a going-away party at the shop. But tensions rise when some members of the crew feel excluded from the celebration.
As the episode progresses, the COVID-19 pandemic worsens and restrictions are put in place, causing stress and anxiety for everyone involved. The crew must figure out how to adapt to the new normal and keep Black Ink running while also prioritizing the safety of themselves and their clients.
As always, drama ensues as personal relationships are put to the test. Teddy and Tati confront each other about their past issues and Ceaser and Alex continue to butt heads. The episode ends with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to see what happens next in the lives of the Black Ink Crew.
