Blackout is a docudrama that explores the darkest recesses of human nature in the event that a prolonged blackout occurs which affects virtually the entire country. Like many other popular topics in its genre, Blackout is filmed in a rather unique fashion that allows viewers to see what could happen and view it as if it were actually occurring. The show presents some very sobering information and it definitely makes viewers think about how they would handle the situation if they themselves were in the midst of all this chaos. It provides very feasible situations that could exist rather easily to cause blackouts of this nature, and it also explores how humanity would survive if it were plunged into a prolonged blackness without any hope of electricity being restored.
