Ep 10. Nor I, Nigel, AKA Leg in Iron

When a security guard is savagely beaten in an art museum, the team is called in to investigate the matter. It soon becomes apparent that the art piece that the guard was watching over is a fake and that the original was stolen from a museum twenty years ago by a notorious art thief called Nigel Thornton. Jane is especially interested in the case, and it's not long before they find out that the team has a personal connection to the renowned gangster.

Meanwhile, Patterson and Borden grow closer as they continue their treatment sessions. Reade is still struggling with his newfound responsibility as assistant director and his unresolved feelings for Nas. As the investigation continues, the team discovers that Nigel Thornton has a fellow thief, a woman named Esmeralda, who has been helping him pull off his heists. After digging deeper, they discover that the two have a new plan in motion, one that involves stealing a valuable painting from an exclusive auction that is taking place that evening.

The team has to act fast and come up with a plan to stop the thieves. They soon learn that the security at the auction is top-notch, making it harder for them to infiltrate and stop the robbery. Therefore, they devise an alternate plan that is risky but has a chance of success. In addition, the team realizes that they have no backup and that there is a good chance they could be walking into a trap.

As if things weren't complicated enough, tensions are running high between Kurt and Jane. It seems that Kurt is still struggling to come to terms with the fact that Jane has been lying to him all along. Their interactions throughout the episode are tense and fraught with tension, which culminates in a shocking discovery for Kurt.
