Blue Water High is a drama television series. The series focuses on teenagers who attend a prestigious surfing school. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Nickelodean broadcasted this show in Australia. The show also premiered in many other countries other than Australia. Every season follows a different group of students at the surfing school, Solar Blue. Each season is supposed to represent a span of twelve months. The school is located on the northern beaches in Sydney. In series one, the first eight original cast members are introduced. These characters are very different, ranging from "the town local" to the professional German Kiteboarder. Towards the end of the season there is a competition to get an opportunity to be apart of the pro-circuit tour. Out of all of the students attending the school, only one boy and one girl were picked to be on the tour. Fly, played by Sophie Luck, and Edge played by Khan Chittenden were the two students picked. Series two only had two return from the original season which were Fly, played by Sophie Luck and Heath, played by Adam Saunders. There were about six more main characters introduced in series two. There was the same competition in season two and the winners of this competition were Brooke and Eric played by Lesley Mitchell and Ryan Corr. Series three follows the same patterns as the other two series. There are about six new students introduced. Bec and Garry, played by Kate Bell and Craig Horner, also return for this series. The two winners this series are Bridget (Cariba Heine) and Adam (Eka Darville). Loren and Cassie, Rebecca Breeds, both tied for second place, so they have to draw straws in order to choose the winner. Loren, played by Amy Beckwith, draws the longer straw, then becoming the winner of the competition.
