Ep 4. Out of the Mouths of Babes

When a group of convicts escapes from prison, the U.S. Marshals turn to a team of former fugitives-turned-consultants to track them down in the fourth episode of Breakout Kings season 1, titled "Out of the Mouths of Babes."

The episode opens with the team -- comprised of Charlie (Laz Alonso), Ray (Domenick Lombardozzi), Shea (Malcolm Goodwin), and Erica (Serinda Swan) -- brainstorming ideas on how to catch the escaped convicts, who are believed to be hiding in a rural area outside of town. Charlie suggests using a drone to survey the area from above, but Ray dismisses the idea, pointing out that the convicts could easily spot it.

As the team rides with U.S. Marshals to the search area, Charlie decides to take a different approach. He suggests that they visit a local school to talk to the children and see if any of them have seen anything suspicious. The Marshals are skeptical, but Charlie convinces them to give it a shot.

At the school, Erica and Shea split up to talk to different classes while Charlie and Ray focus on the kindergarten class. Ray is initially annoyed by the children's antics and lack of helpful information, but Charlie bonds with a particularly precocious little girl named Becky (played by guest star Mackenzie Aladjem).

While Becky is initially hesitant to help, Charlie eventually coaxes her into giving him some information. She tells him that she saw a red truck with no license plates parked near her house the night before and that she heard some loud noises coming from it. Charlie recognizes this as a likely hiding spot for the escaped convicts and immediately alerts the Marshals.

As the team rushes to the location, they realize that they're too late -- the convicts have already fled. They do, however, find some evidence suggesting that the convicts had an accomplice on the outside who provided them with the truck. The team begins to investigate, but they hit a dead end when they realize that the truck was reported stolen earlier that day.

Frustrated, the team regroups and tries to come up with a new plan. They ultimately decide to revisit the kindergarten class, hoping that Becky might have more information to offer. When they arrive, however, they find that Becky has been kidnapped by the same accomplice who provided the truck to the convicts.

The team races to find Becky before it's too late, using all of their combined skills to track her down. They eventually locate her at an abandoned warehouse, where they engage in a tense standoff with the kidnapper. In the end, the team is able to convince him to release Becky unharmed.

The episode ends with the team celebrating their victory, but also realizing that they still have a long way to go in their hunt for the escaped convicts. The ending sets the stage for future episodes, keeping viewers engaged and ready to see what happens next.
