Burgers, Brew & 'Que is back with its sixth season, and in the first episode, titled "Champion Burger Knockouts," host Michael Symon travels to San Francisco, California and Denver, Colorado to find the best burgers and hops in town.
In San Francisco, Michael visits Pearl's Deluxe Burgers to taste its famous and award-winning cheeseburger, "The Deluxe." He also meets up with Chef Adam Rosenblum to try his "Frenchie Burger," a burger with blue cheese, caramelized onions, and dijonnaise sauce that has been dubbed the "best burger in San Francisco" by Michael's friend and acclaimed chef, Chris Cosentino. Michael also explores the city's beer scene by heading to the Anchor Brewing Company to try its classic brews and then going to Cellarmaker Brewing Company to taste their unique and experimental beers.
From there, Michael heads to Denver, Colorado, where he visits the 2019 winner of the Denver Burger Battle, Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. Michael tries the "Bad Ass Burger," a juicy patty topped with roasted garlic mayo, jalapeno bacon, and a fried egg. He also meets up with Chef Brother Luck to taste his "Pueblo Chile-Charred Burger," a burger with charred Pueblo chiles and a house-made ranch dressing. Michael then heads to Ratio Beerworks to try their selection of beers and sandwiches.
Throughout the episode, Michael embarks on his journey to find the best burgers and brews in these two cities, meeting locals and chefs along the way who share their love for their craft and their communities.
