Buso Renkin Season 1 Episode 18 The Escape

Kazuki and Tokiko are on the lookout for any Homunculi still alive after their last run-in with Victor and his group. Meanwhile, Victor leads his group in an attempt to capture Kazuki and take back the Kakugane that was stolen from them. The group manages to trap Kazuki and Tokiko, but as they attempt to escape, they are pursued by the enemy. They manage to hold off the attackers long enough to get away, but Victor vows to retrieve the Kakugane no matter the cost. Elsewhere, Doctor Butterfly gets a visit from Papillon, who is looking for information on Kazuki. Doctor Butterfly gives him an idea of where to find Kazuki and tells him to stay away from him. Papillon becomes intrigued by Kazuki and sets off to find him.
