Canaan is a thrilling anime series that aired in 2009, featuring the incredible voice talents of Miyuki Sawashiro, Kenji Hamada, Maaya Sakamoto, and Haruka Tomatsu. The show follows the story of a young girl named Canaan who possesses extraordinary abilities due to a special virus that she contracted at a young age. Canaan lives in Shanghai and works as a mercenary, using her unique skills to take down her enemies and protect innocent people whenever necessary.

The series starts with two Japanese journalists, Minoru Minato and Maria
