Ep 1. Sakura and the Clear Cards

Sakura and the Clear Cards is the first episode of the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card season 1. The episode starts with a recap of the previous events that led to Sakura becoming a Cardcaptor. It has been two years since Sakura sealed the Clow Cards, and she is now a junior high school student. Sakura is happy to be back at school with her friends, but she seems to be troubled by something. She has been having strange dreams and feels like something is about to happen.

One day, Sakura and her friend Tomoyo decide to visit a mysterious store they have never been to before. The owner of the store, Akiho Shinomoto, is a new transfer student in Sakura's class. Akiho shows Sakura a strange book with blank pages, which she says was a present from her father.

As they leave the store, a strange gust of wind blows past them, and Sakura sees a strange figure in the distance. She feels a strange energy coming from the figure, but can't quite identify what it is. Later that day, Sakura decides to check the book that Akiho showed her. As she flips through the pages, a magical energy flows into her body, causing her to faint.

When she wakes up, Sakura discovers that the orange teddy bear she keeps in her room has come to life. The bear introduces itself as Kero, the guardian of the Clow Cards. Kero explains to Sakura that a new set of magical cards called the Clear Cards have appeared in Tomoeda. These cards are different from the Clow Cards and have their own unique powers. Kero also tells Sakura that her Wand and Sealing Key have transformed to adapt to the new cards.

Sakura realizes that her dream was a premonition of the appearance of the Clear Cards. She decides to go out and search for them and is accompanied by Kero. The two of them head to the park where Sakura saw the mysterious figure earlier that day. They discover a beautiful butterfly made of ice and quickly realize that it is one of the Clear Cards. Sakura tries to capture it using her new abilities but fails as the card escapes.

As Sakura and Kero continue their search, they discover more Clear Cards, each with a unique power. Sakura gets frustrated as she is unable to capture them, but Kero encourages her to keep trying. Eventually, they find a giant water bubble with a Clear Card inside. Sakura uses her newfound powers to capture the card, marking her first successful capture of a Clear Card.

Back at home, Sakura continues to experiment with her new powers, trying to understand their full capabilities. She realizes that her sealing wand has been upgraded with technology that allows her to see the Clear Cards' powers. As she goes to bed, Sakura decides that she will need to keep searching for the Clear Cards and capturing them before they cause any harm.

The first episode of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card season 1 sets the stage for an exciting new adventure for Sakura and her friends. With the emergence of the Clear Cards, Sakura must once again don her Cardcaptor hat and use her magical abilities to save her town from danger.
