In Cheers season 11 episode 12 titled "Sunday Dinner," the gang at Cheers gather together for a traditional Sunday meal, but things don't go as planned. The episode begins with Sam, Woody, and Rebecca all learning that they have been invited to Carla's house for dinner. The three of them are excited about the prospect of enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal, but each has their own reasons for attending.

Sam is hoping to get closer to Carla, who he has been secretly crushing on for a while. Woody is excited about the opportunity to spend time with Carla's family, as he is always interested in learning about other cultures and customs. Rebecca is simply looking forward to having a relaxing evening and forgetting about her work for a while.

When they arrive at Carla's house, they are surprised to find that several other people have also been invited to the dinner, including Frasier, Lilith, and Carla's boss, Mr. Cavanaugh. Carla's family is there as well, including her eight children and her mother.

As they all sit down to enjoy the meal, things quickly start to go wrong. Sam spills his drink on one of the children, Woody embarrasses himself by trying to impress Carla's mother with his knowledge of her culture, and Rebecca drinks too much wine and starts to get a little too friendly with everyone at the table.

As the evening progresses, tensions rise and secrets are revealed. Frasier and Lilith have an argument that threatens to end their relationship, while Mr. Cavanaugh makes a shocking announcement that leaves everyone at the table stunned.

Through it all, Carla tries to remain calm and keep everything under control, but it's clear that things are spiraling out of hand. Sam, Woody, and Rebecca all try to help out in their own ways, but their efforts only seem to make things worse.

In the end, however, they all come together to help Carla and her family through a difficult situation. As they say their goodbyes and head back to Cheers, they realize that sometimes, the most unexpected things can happen when you least expect them.

Overall, "Sunday Dinner" is a hilarious and heartwarming episode that showcases the best of the Cheers gang. Despite their flaws and differences, they all come together when it matters most, proving that friendship and community are truly what make life worth living.
