Ep 4. The Groom Wore Clearasil

In season 4 episode 4 of Cheers, entitled "The Groom Wore Clearasil," the gang at Cheers is preparing for the wedding of Coach's daughter, Lisa. Sam is excited to be the best man, but Lisa's fiancé, Jeffrey, is less than thrilled to have him involved in the wedding.

Meanwhile, Diane is struggling to find the perfect wedding gift for the couple. She finally settles on a painting, but it turns out to be a terrible choice when Lisa reveals that the couple is planning on redecorating their entire apartment in a black and white theme.

As the wedding draws closer, tensions rise between Sam and Jeffrey, and things come to a head when Jeffrey accuses Sam of trying to steal Lisa away from him. The two end up in a physical altercation, and Lisa is left wondering if she is making the right choice in marrying Jeffrey.

The rest of the gang tries to help out, with Woody and Carla going undercover to spy on Jeffrey and Vera trying to provide some sage advice. In the end, though, it is up to Lisa to make the final decision about her future.
