Ep 21. Simon Says

Frasier's old friend from Boston, Simon, reveals that he is now a powerful businessman, owning several chains of stores across the country. The gang at Cheers is skeptical of Simon's sudden success and fear that he is too easily getting the upper hand in business deals. Meanwhile, Simon invites Frasier to join him for a charity dinner, but Frasier can't seem to shake his fear of being labeled a snob. In an attempt to impress Simon, Frasier lies about his living situation and pretends to be poor. Sam, Diane, and the rest of the Cheers crew are left to deal with the consequences when Frasier's lie is exposed. As tensions rise, Simon's true intentions are revealed, and the gang must band together to prevent him from taking advantage of them.
