Ep 12. Mirror Mirror

In "Mirror Mirror," the twelfth episode of Chicago Med's second season, the staff of Gaffney Chicago Medical Center faces a slew of new challenges, both medical and personal.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) continues to grapple with the ramifications of his father's death and his own role in the traumatic events leading up to it. When he is tasked with operating on a young patient with a serious heart condition, he finds himself experiencing intense flashbacks and struggling to maintain his composure.

As all of these individual storylines unfold, the overarching theme of "Mirror Mirror" emerges: the importance of facing one's own flaws and shortcomings in order to grow and learn from them. Each of the characters in this episode faces their own challenges and struggles, but by confronting these obstacles head-on they are able to come out stronger and more resilient on the other side.
