Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) continue to team up and battle against an ambiguous injury all while finding themselves having to care for a pilgrim who they believe is injured. As they work through the case, Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) is working on a case of her own. She and Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) have to deal with a woman who has been trying to conceive for years. Although her husband wants her to continue trying, Dr. Charles is concerned for her health.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) and April (Yaya DaCosta) have to work together to care for a patient who is in need of a special procedure. Also, Dr. Reese (Rachel DiPillo) and Dr. Zanetti (guest star Nick Marini) continue to work on their patient who has been committed after a mental breakdown. They deal with a moral dilemma as to whether or not they should report what they find when they review his belongings.

Meanwhile, Dr. Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) gets a call from the hospital board and is asked to make some changes. She’s not too pleased but knows she has to face the music and decide what the best course of action is for the hospital. As all of these storylines unfold, the doctors work tirelessly to provide the best care possible for their patients.

The episode "Deliver Us" is an intense look into the daily operations of Chicago Med. It shows the hospital staff facing multiple challenges, both professional and personal. The show does an excellent job of pacing out the different plotlines to keep the viewer engaged, while still keeping the focus on the characters and their growth.

One of the main storylines of the episode revolves around Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Halstead. As they deal with their patient who has an ambiguous injury, they show off their impressive skills and teamwork. There are some tense moments as they work against the clock to diagnose the patient, but the two doctors keep their cool and handle the situation with grace.

Another storyline to note is Dr. Manning's case. She and Dr. Charles butt heads as they try to decide what's best for the patient. The subplot is a poignant look at the struggles of infertility and how it can affect a person's emotions and relationships. DeVitto and Platt have great chemistry, and their scenes together are some of the highlights of the episode.

The dynamic between Dr. Choi and April is also explored in the episode. They are forced to work together, despite their different approaches to caregiving. Their scenes together are fun and show the different perspectives that exist within the medical field.

Finally, there's Dr. Goodwin's storyline. Although it's not as action-packed as the rest, it does provide some insight into the hospital's operations and the pressures that Goodwin is under. Merkerson's performance is powerful, and her scenes have a quiet intensity that make them a pleasure to watch.

Overall, "Deliver Us" is a strong episode of Chicago Med. It keeps the viewer engaged from start to finish with multiple storylines that are connected by great acting and character development. It's a testament to the writers and the cast that the show continues to be compelling, even in its second season.
