Ep 10. Mercy

The episode "Mercy" from season 7 of Chicago PD opens with the team investigating the brutal murder of a young woman in a hotel room. The woman is identified as a nurse who worked at a nearby hospital, and it quickly becomes apparent that she was targeted by someone who knew her well. Voight continues to struggle with his own dark past, particularly as it becomes clear that the doctor involved in the nurse's murder may have protected himself with the help of powerful allies.

The episode builds to a tense conclusion, as the team races against time to solve the case and bring the perpetrator to justice. Along the way, they must confront their own personal demons, test their loyalty to one another, and ultimately decide what it means to serve and protect in a city that can often be cruel and unforgiving.

With its signature mix of intense action, complex characters, and emotionally charged storytelling, "Mercy" is a standout episode of Chicago PD's seventh season, one that fans won't want to miss.
