Children of the Whales Full Episode Guide

  • Now that they know the truth, the Mud Whale's residents face a decision. Meanwhile, Orca carries out his own plans in the empire.

  • In order to determine the responsibility of the destruction of Nous Skylos, Arachni and Orca are summoned by the top brass of the Imperial Army. Although the two were sentenced to death, Orca's rebuttal shifts the course of the scenario.

  • Due to the destruction of the Nous Skylos and its battleship, the fight between Mud Whale and the Imperial Soldiers ends. Later, a battleship different from the Skylos appears before Mud Whale.

  • With much sacrifice, Chakuro, Ouni, and the others arrive at the Nous Skylos. At that time, while the inhabitants of Mud Whale are defending themselves against the Empire, Liontari and Shuan confront each other.

  • The inhabitants of the Mud Whale prepare for the attack in four days' time. Urumi and her friends talk to Lykos, offer her some new clothes, and ask her about the upcoming attack. At a meeting between Suou and his aides, the elder Lasha appears, and questions if what they are doing is really the right thing. Meanwhile, Nibi recalls his past with Ouni, whose origins seem to be a mystery. After getting thrown into the bowels together after a fight, Nibi promises to take Ouni to the outside world, and they become friends. Chakuro meets Aima, Neri's twin sister, who promises to tell him all of the secrets of the Mud Whale if he comes back alive from the attack on Skylos. Suou gives a final speech to the inhabitants of the Mud Whale, and they have a moment of brevity in the Sand Festival. On the day of the attack, a sandstorm occurs, reducing visibility. Chakuro, Lykos, Ouni, and Ginshu are all chosen to take part in the attack on Skylos. Nibi demands to be taken along as well. As the attack team prepares to leave, they see the first attackers from Skylos.

  • Deep in the bowels of the mud whale, Chakuro and friends discover the Nous that powers the ship. The elders attempt to kill it, but Lykos and Chakuro manage to stop them. Neri, who calls the Nous "Mother", disappears into it. Meanwhile, Ouni and Shuan's fight concludes, with Shuan's eye being revealed. Suou is then released from his prison and readies himself as the new chieftain of the ship. Lykos reveals to them more about the world. Suou then speaks to prepare the inhabitants of the Mud Whale for the attack in four days' time.

  • After the death of Lady Taisha, Suou is appointed as the new chief as the Mud Whale. However, Suou learns that the Council of Elders is planning to sink the Mud Whale beneath the sea of sand - with everyone still on it! He is then imprisoned by the council beneath the ship. Neri attempts to warn Chakuro of what the council is planning, and a mysterious force appears to take over her body and show Chakuro visions of the dead and living. Chakuro, with the help of several of his friends, manages to get into the bowels of the ship, where they find Neri and a mysterious creature.

  • The Mud Whale is invaded by the ruthless and mysterious troops of the "Empire." Using magic, Ouni and some of the others begin fighting back.

  • Chakuro, Ouni and Lykos arrive on the island Lykos. Lykos states that in the outside world that Ouni yearns for, soldiers without emotions, the ap├ítheia, wage countless wars. After they return to the Mud Whale, Lykos and Chakuro view the flight of the Star Locusts. But afterwards, the peaceful days of the Mud Whale come to an end. Soldiers aboard a small boat appear and begin to indiscriminately attack the inhabitants of the Mud Whale.

  • Year 93 of the Sand Era. The people of the Mud Whale live peacefully in their island that drifts along the endless sandy sea. Chakuro, the archivist of the ship, discovers a mysterious girl, Lykos, during a scouting trip to an island in the sea of sand.
