Ep 11. Star Power: Web Stars!

In Chopped season 33 episode 11, titled "Star Power: Web Stars!," four top influencers from the world of social media compete in the kitchen for a chance to impress the judges and win $10,000 for charity.

The contestants are Rosanna Pansino, the popular YouTube baking sensation with over 12 million subscribers; iJustine, the tech influencer and Twitch streamer; Timothée Chalamet's doppelganger, TikTok star Matt Borruso; and Snapchat sensation Shonduras, known for his creative storytelling and pranks.

In the appetizer round, the contestants are tasked with incorporating hot dogs and Gruyere cheese into their dishes. The challenge proves to be tricky, as some of the contestants struggle to balance the flavors of the salty hot dogs and the nutty cheese. Rosanna Pansino, however, wows the judges with her creativity and technique, using the hot dogs as a component in her shrimp ceviche.

For the entree round, the contestants must work with quail and root vegetables. Some of the contestants struggle with the small size of the quail, as it proves challenging to cook the meat evenly without overcooking it. iJustine impresses the judges with her well-seasoned quail and perfectly roasted vegetables, while Shonduras pushes the envelope with his bold flavors and unique presentation.

In the dessert round, the remaining contestants must use a surprise secret ingredient: pickles. While some of the web stars are intimidated by the odd pairing of pickles and dessert, the judges are excited to taste their creations. Matt Borruso's innovative take on a pickle ice cream sandwich impresses the judges, while Rosanna Pansino's playful and whimsical pickle cupcakes win over their hearts.

Throughout the episode, the web stars showcase their culinary talents and personalities, engaging the audience with their humor, energy, and competitive spirit. In the end, only one web star emerges as the winner, earning the coveted title of Chopped champion and a $10,000 donation to the charity of their choice.
