One chef in particular struggles with this challenge. She's never cooked with tempeh before and isn't quite sure how to incorporate it into her dish. Meanwhile, another chef's quinoa turns out undercooked and gritty.

But for those who succeed, the judges rave about the rich umami flavors and the expertly cooked grains and mushrooms. One chef even manages to turn tofu into a convincing imitation of scrambled eggs.

Finally, in the dessert round, the remaining chefs are given just 30 minutes to create a sweet treat using ingredients like coconut milk, dark chocolate, and mango. Tempers are starting to flare as the chefs struggle to come up with creative ideas on the fly.

One chef decides to make a chocolate mousse using silken tofu, while another creates a tropical sorbet using the mango and coconut. A third chef struggles to make a dessert using kale, before ultimately deciding to make a savory granita with a hint of lime.

In the end, it all comes down to the judges' decision. They're looking for a cohesive menu with excellent flavors and presentation. Some chefs are praised for their ingenuity and risk-taking, while others are criticized for playing it safe. In the end, only one chef will walk away with the prize and the title of Chopped champion.
