The episode "Seeing Things" of the TV show Corner Gas season 4 revolves around Brent, the owner of the gas station in Dog River, who starts seeing things. This strange phenomenon starts when Brent comes across a bag filled with money left at his doorstep. He starts having delusions and ponders spending the cash, but eventually gives it to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) who arrive in town to investigate.

Worried about his sanity, Brent confides in his friends Davis, Hank, Lacey, and Emma, all of whom are initially skeptical of his claims. However, as Brent's condition worsens, the residents of Dog River begin to take notice. They first start avoiding him, thinking he is crazy. Then they start following him, suspecting he has seen something.

During all this, Brent seeks advice from his mother, who has a history of similar delusions, and discovers that his late father also had similar experiences. Distressed and running out of time, Brent tries to get to the bottom of his delusions.

Elsewhere in the town, Karen starts noticing her dream of being a police officer may be coming true, but she falls short on her physical assessment test.

As the episode progresses, Brent's situation gets worse and he starts wearing a hat with tin foil wrapped around it to block out the "signals" he thinks he is receiving. Davis and Hank decide to investigate the source of Brent's delusions and find out that the bag of money was left by a local granddad as an inheritance gift for his grandson.

Upon discovering the truth about the bag, Brent becomes less paranoid and realizes that he was only seeing things. He starts feeling better and removes the tin foil hat, much to the relief of his friends and the locals. Thus the episode ends with Brent's sanity restored, and everything returning to normal in Dog River.

Overall, the episode "Seeing Things" explores the theme of mental illness, delusions, and paranoia. It shows how easy it is to get carried away by our thoughts and how important it is to seek help when faced with such situations. The comedic moments and the camaraderie between the characters provide a balance that keeps the show lighthearted and entertaining.
