Brent is feeling down and out of shape, so he decides to take up soccer to get back into the swing of things. He quickly becomes obsessed with the sport, and even starts to neglect his responsibilities at the gas station. Meanwhile, Wanda takes on more shifts at Corner Gas and tries to prove her worth to the staff. Oscar and Emma attempt to cook a fancy meal for their anniversary, but things quickly go awry.
