Nicole is worried about Eric after their argument. She confides in Marlena, who advises her to give Eric some space and time to cool off. Meanwhile, Eric confides in his brother Brady, who urges him to apologize to Nicole and try to work things out.

At the hospital, Sarah grapples with her guilt over keeping the truth about the baby's paternity from Eric. She has a heart-to-heart with Xander, who reminds her that she did what she thought was best for everyone involved. Later, Sarah has a run-in with Victor, who tries to intimidate her into keeping quiet about the paternity secret.

Ciara and Ben continue their investigation into who's been targeting him. Ben's convinced it's one of his old enemies from the time he was a serial killer. After some digging, Ciara thinks she's found a lead, but Ben isn't so sure.

Meanwhile, Gabi's plan to take down Julie is in full swing. She bribes a nurse at the hospital to switch Julie's pacemaker with a faulty one. Gabi's overheard by Eli, who confronts her about her actions.

Will tells Sonny about his mysterious ailment. Worried, Sonny insists that Will see a specialist right away. They argue about whether or not to tell their daughter Arianna about Will's condition.

Elsewhere, Lani and Kristen bond over being mothers. Lani confides in Kristen about her fears of raising a child without a father figure. Kristen reassures her that she'll be a wonderful mother, and that her baby will always know how much she's loved.

As the day progresses, tensions rise and secrets come to light. Lives are changed forever as the residents of Salem navigate the many twists and turns of their turbulent lives.
