Ep 6. Hit and Run

In season 11 episode 6 of Deadly Women, titled "Hit and Run," viewers are taken on a journey through the twisted minds of female killers who use their cars as weapons.

Next, viewers meet a woman named Kelly who was seemingly happy in her marriage. However, when Kelly discovers that her husband has been cheating on her with a 19-year-old girl, she becomes enraged. One night, while driving home drunk from a party, Kelly sees her husband and his young mistress walking on the side of the road. She decides to use her car as a weapon and runs them both over. The consequences of her actions are devastating, not just for her victims but also for her own children who are left grappling with the aftermath of their mother's violence.

The show then introduces us to a woman named Kim who is fed up with her abusive husband. One night, after a particularly gruesome fight, Kim gets behind the wheel of her car and speeds towards her husband, intending to scare him. However, things quickly spiral out of control. As she reaches for her phone, Kim takes her eyes off the road and ends up hitting and killing her husband. The police quickly catch on to Kim's lies and deceit, and she is eventually brought to justice for her crime.

Lastly, the episode tells the story of a life on the run. Wanda Barzee kidnaps and holds a girl captive for nine months with the help of her husband. She is eventually caught and sentenced to prison. After she is released, she reconnects with her husband and they go on the run to avoid being caught by the authorities. When they're pulled over by a police officer, things take a dark turn and Wanda kills the officer in cold blood before going back on the run. Her actions ultimately lead to her downfall and she is apprehended soon after.

"Hit and Run" explores the chilling ways in which women can use their cars to commit heinous crimes. From jealousy to abuse and beyond, the episode delves into the motives behind these women's actions and provides an intriguing look at the sinister side of human nature.
