As the inhabitants of Saint Marie prepare for the festive season, true-crime podcaster Jennifer Langan is found shot dead. Langan had been investigating the strange disappearance of a nine-year old boy on Christmas Eve in 1977. Selwyn's past comes back to haunt him and this was the one case he never solved. When recordings from the night of the murder are uncovered, the team are left with a chilling question. Are supernatural forces at work?
