Ep 2. A Helping Hand

Degrassi Junior High season 2 episode 2, titled "A Helping Hand," follows the lives of the students at Degrassi Junior High as they navigate through the challenges of adolescence.

The episode begins with Joey Jeremiah, one of the main characters, trying to find a way to make some extra money. He decides to start a tutoring service and puts up flyers around the school. Wheels, another one of the main characters, sees the flyer and asks Joey for help with his math. Joey reluctantly agrees to tutor Wheels, but things quickly become complicated when he realizes how far behind Wheels is in his studies.

Meanwhile, Stephanie, a popular girl at the school, is struggling with her relationship with her boyfriend, Voula. She is feeling pressured to have sex with him, but isn't sure if she is ready. She confides in her friend, Spike, who encourages her to talk to Voula about her feelings. Stephanie ultimately decides to break up with Voula when he refuses to listen to her concerns.

Elsewhere, Caitlin and Susie are assigned to work on a school project together. Caitlin is excited to work with Susie, but Susie is struggling with her self-esteem and constantly compares herself to Caitlin. When Caitlin accidentally leaves Susie out of a group project, Susie becomes even more upset and decides to drop out of the project altogether.

Throughout the episode, the students at Degrassi Junior High grapple with issues such as academic struggles, peer pressure, and self-doubt. However, they learn the importance of seeking help and support from one another in order to overcome these challenges.
