It is the ninth episode of the show Devils' Line. This episode is titled 'Command.' The episode follow-up from the previous one where we saw Tsukasa rescuing Johannes from a group of mercenaries who were chasing after him. They both escape in an alley where, while Tsukasa is trying to calm Johannes down, they are suddenly attacked by a member of the CCC. The CCC member tries to kill Johannes, but Tsukasa manages to fend him off. After the attack, Tsukasa takes Johannes to his apartment and decides to stay with him until it's safe. Meanwhile, Anzai and his squad receive information about the group they believe is responsible for Johannes's attack.

As the episode progresses, we see that Anzai and his squad have decided to visit a club owned by one of the group suspects. They are hoping to find any clues about the group's activities. On the other hand, Johannes has finally gained conscious and recovers from the injuries caused by the CCC member. Tsukasa is still with him, trying his best to provide all the support he can. However, their peace is disrupted once again when they hear a loud bang from the apartment unit below them. Tsukasa quickly prepares to confront the situation, leaving Johannes alone in the apartment.

As Tsukasa investigates the situation, he discovers that the CCC has gained some sort of control over the building's security system. They have locked down all the exits and are now searching for Johannes. Tsukasa tries to fight them off, but they are outnumbered. Meanwhile, Anzai and his squad have found out that there is a mole within the police force who's been helping the CCC.

As the situation escalates, Tsukasa sends a distress signal to Anzai, who immediately realizes that Johannes is in danger. He and his squad rush to the location of the apartment.
