Ok-jung dies after taking poison. The nobility do not want commoner Dong Yi as queen. In-won becomes queen instead. The new queen is manipulated into trying to arrange marriage for Dong Yi's son. By law, once he is married, he must leave the palace and Dong Yi's protection.
