Embarrassing Bodies is a British television show that airs on Channel 4, which helps people with medical conditions they may be too embarrassed to discuss with their doctors. In season 2 episode 3, titled Rural, the show brings their services to the countryside.

In this episode of Embarrassing Bodies, Dr. Christian Jessen and Dr. Pixie McKenna travel to a small rural town in England to help people dealing with embarrassing medical issues. The doctors set up a mobile clinic in the town center, hoping to reach as many people as possible. They also visit some of the locals' homes to deal with cases that require greater privacy.

The episode starts with the doctors meeting a man named Greg, who is suffering from a painful rash on his feet. He's been to several doctors, but none of them have been able to diagnose his condition. Dr. Pixie examines Greg's feet and determines that he has athlete's foot, which is often caused by walking barefoot in damp places. Dr. Pixie prescribes some medication and gives Greg some advice on how to prevent the condition from recurring.

The next patient the doctors meet is a woman named Sue, who is experiencing some unusual vaginal discharge. She's embarrassed to discuss it with the doctors but decides to open up to them after they reassure her that they've heard it all before. Dr. Pixie examines Sue and finds that she has a bacterial infection. The doctors prescribe some antibiotics for the infection and advise Sue to practice good hygiene to prevent similar issues in the future.

Later, the doctors visit a sheep farm where they meet a man named David, who is suffering from piles. He's been dealing with the condition for several months but is too embarrassed to seek help. Dr. Christian examines David and prescribes some medication to deal with the piles. He also advises David to make some lifestyle changes, such as improving his diet and getting more exercise, to reduce the chances of the piles returning.

The doctors also visit a local school to talk to students about sexually transmitted infections (STIs). They discuss the importance of practicing safe sex and getting tested regularly. The doctors also answer any questions the students may have and debunk some common myths about STIs.

Next, Dr. Pixie visits a local hairdresser, who is concerned about a lump on her breast. Dr. Pixie performs an examination and determines that the lump is benign. She advises the hairdresser to keep an eye on it and come back for further check-ups if the lump persists or grows.

Finally, the doctors visit a young woman named Tasha, who is suffering from acne. Tasha has been struggling with acne for several years and feels embarrassed to go out in public. Dr. Christian examines her and prescribes some medication that should help clear up her acne. He also gives her some advice on how to care for her skin and prevent future acne breakouts.

Overall, Embarrassing Bodies season 2 episode 3 provides a glimpse into the medical issues that people in rural areas experience. The doctors are able to help the people they meet, providing valuable advice and treatment for a variety of conditions. By bringing their mobile clinic to the town center, the doctors are able to reach more people and provide much-needed care.
