Fantasy Island season 6 episode 11, titled "The Songwriter / Queen of the Soaps," is an exciting and entertaining installment of the popular 70s TV series. The episode revolves around two main storylines, each featuring a guest star with their own unique set of dreams and desires.

In the first storyline, we meet a struggling songwriter named Johnny Crawford (played by David Cassidy). Johnny has always dreamed of having a hit song, but despite his talent and hard work, he has never been able to break through in the music industry. As a last ditch effort, he comes to Fantasy Island to ask Mr. Roarke to make him a successful songwriter overnight.

Roarke, as always, has a few tricks up his sleeve to help Johnny achieve his dream. He grants him the ability to hear the songs that are brewing in people's hearts, and gives him access to a recording studio and a famous record producer to help him turn those songs into hits. However, things don't go exactly according to plan, and as Johnny starts to gain the success he's always wanted, he begins to realize that he might be losing himself in the process.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the island, we meet Cindy Harris (played by Linda Gray), the star of a popular daytime soap opera called "Love and Lies." Cindy has been living in the shadow of her on-screen persona for years, and she's tired of being known only as the conniving and scheming "Queen of the Soaps." She comes to Fantasy Island hoping to rediscover her true self and break free from the constraints of her job.

Roarke once again offers his assistance, and Cindy finds herself transported back in time to a Wild West town where she becomes a sheriff's deputy. As she grapples with a dangerous gang of outlaws and her own feelings of inadequacy, Cindy begins to realize that maybe she has more in common with her TV alter-ego than she thought.

Throughout the episode, both Johnny and Cindy undergo a journey of self-discovery and growth, learning important lessons about themselves and their dreams along the way. As always, Mr. Roarke is there to guide them through the ups and downs of their fantasy experiences, offering insights and wisdom that help them find their way back to reality.

Overall, "The Songwriter / Queen of the Soaps" is a compelling and heartwarming episode of Fantasy Island that showcases the show's trademark blend of drama and emotion. With its relatable characters and timeless themes of self-acceptance and fulfillment, this episode is sure to leave a lasting impression on viewers of all ages.
