In captivity, they're forced to fight in an arena against other prisoners. It's during this fight that Ash reveals a hidden talent and saves Gary's life.

The group manages to escape, but they are followed by the bounty hunters. In a dramatic showdown, Ash uses his unique abilities to defeat the hunters and save his new friends.

As the episode comes to a close, Gary and Ash say their goodbyes, with Ash promising to help Gary in any way he can if they ever cross paths again.

Overall, "Final Space" season 3 episode 3 is a stand-alone episode that still manages to flesh out a new character and expand on the universe of the show.
