Four In A Bed Season 5 Episode 4

Four In A Bed Season 5 Episode 4 Series 5 Episode 4

Four in a Bed is a British show where four bed and breakfast owners compete with one another to see the best deal for their accommodations. Each B&B business owner will stay at the other's establishment and give a review on different areas of their experience, including room quality, cleanliness, service, and breakfast. In the end, they'll rate their stay and determine who provides the best value for the money.

In Series 5 Episode 4, four different B&B owners from across the UK compete against each other for the top spot and a chance to take home the cash prize. The first B&B we see in this episode is Broadgate Farm Cottages in East Yorkshire, run by twin sisters Amanda and Julian. Their B&B features beautifully designed cottages that are perfect for families. The guests have high expectations and it has been awarded 5-star, gold accommodation with Visit England.

Next up is Motts Cottage in Essex, owned by mother and daughter team Diane and Hannah. Their B&B is unique in that it's a converted coach house- they've turned it into a cozy and quaint B&B that provides a comfortable stay for their guests. Diane and Hannah bend over backwards for their guests, which they believe puts them in the running for first place.

The third B&B is The Old Granary in Norfolk, run by newly married couple Brian and Faye. They are quite confident that their accommodations are amongst the best in the competition. The Old Granary is situated in the beautiful countryside of Norfolk and boasts four beautiful rooms, which the couple take great pride in.

The last B&B in this episode is The Ravenous Beastie in Perthshire, owned by husband and wife team Joan and Michael. They believe that their B&B will be the clear winner because they offer something unique- their rooms are based on different types of food, so guests can stay in the 'baked bean' room or the 'sausage' room. Michael is an excellent cook and prepares a full Scottish breakfast for his guests each morning.

As the competition gets underway, each business owner has a lot to say about their competitors. They start assessing each other's rooms, which allows them to quickly pinpoint issues like dusty headboards, damp towels or grubby floors. Some of the guests take their time finding the negative in their competitors' accommodations, others cut straight to the point. As the competition continues, tensions rise when some of the guests are brutally honest with their reviews, which other members of the group often perceive as harsh.

Throughout the episode, we get to see each of the B&B owners enjoy activities together. From a cooking demonstration to a seaside walk, some of the proprietors invite the other guests to partake in activities they believe will raise their ratings. But as the competition heats up, some of the owners become quite competitive, which leads to some tense moments.

In the end, they all gather around the table for the final results. The show delivers the verdicts by averaging out each contestant's scorecard, and revealing how much they would pay per night for each establishment. The results are not what some of the contestants were expecting, causing some of them to become defensive over some of the reviews. In the end, one B&B owner will take home a cash prize and travel home with the title of the best value bed and breakfast.

Four in a Bed S5E4 is the perfect episode for those who love travel and design, and who want to see what it takes to run a successful B&B.
