Tohru Honda begins to reflect on her time living with the Somas as she realizes how much they have helped her to grow as a person. With each member of the family having their own unique struggle, Tohru has been able to learn from each of their experiences and apply it to her own life. She especially admires how strong they all are despite facing difficult circumstances.
As Tohru spends more time with the Somas, she begins to develop deeper relationships with each of them, including the shy and reserved Hiro. Despite his prickly exterior, Tohru sees the good in Hiro and tries to help him cultivate his own personal strength.
Meanwhile, Kyo struggles with feelings of jealousy as he sees Tohru connecting with the other members of the family. He begins to fear that he will be left out and ultimately rejected by Tohru. To make matters worse, he faces a new challenge as he is reunited with an old rival from his childhood. Kyo must work to overcome his inner demons and gain the strength to face his fears.
As the episode comes to a close, Tohru reflects on how she has grown since moving in with the Somas. She realizes that her newfound strength is due in large part to the love and support of those around her. The Somas have become a second family to her, and she feels grateful for the opportunities they have given her to grow and change.
