As Sonny decides whether to kill Ric, he tells him that he didn’t push Elizabeth down the stairs or ever hurt their mother. Jason and Courtney learn that Ric has information that could help rescue Carly. Jason tries to convince Sonny that they need Ric alive. When she believes that Sonny has already killed Ric, Faith goes looking for him with a gun. Elizabeth finds Faith with Michael at the penthouse and confronts her. Stefan is confronted by Nikolas about the fake codicil and he insists that he won’t marry Lydia. Nikolas pushes Lydia away when she claims she is developing real feelings for him. Emily turns down Zander's marriage proposal saying that she wants to be healthy when they get married. Zander later reads her diary and is upset when he reads that she turned down his proposal because of her feelings for Nikolas.
