Sonny tries to find out Lorenzo’s exact location and discovers that he is at the hospital. After Carly visits Emily at the hospital she is confronted by Lorenzo. Courtney is stopped from being rescued when Lorenzo's men return. When Courtney finds out that the boat is not far from the coast line she jumps overboard. Sonny and Carly find out that that Jason is missing. Alexis tries unsuccessfully to reach an agreement with Ned. Stefan sends Alexis out of town as he wants to make another move against Ned. Ned and Skye realise that they are developing feelings for one another. Nikolas agrees to work against Stefan with Lucky and Lydia and he begins to become friendlier towards Lydia.
