Carly is seen leaving AJ's hospital room by John. When Steven finds AJ unconscious he tries to revive him but AJ dies. The pillow that was used to smother AJ is discovered by Ric. When Michael sheds a tear after learning AJ is dead Sonny becomes upset. Steven says that AJ’s autopsy proves that he was murdered. Carly tells Jason that she's in trouble. Carly is asked by Jason if she murdered AJ.
